Our summer family vacation to Wingarsheek Beach, MA.
Aaahhh! The beach! We looked forward for a long time for our trip to the east coast and Wingarsheek Beach. We had discovered this beach about 2 years ago, just by luck, and promised that we would someday make it back. And so we did!! Wingarsheek Beach is in northern Massachusetts. It has white, warm, soft sand, awesome tidal pools, huge rocks to climb on and explore, a lighthouse just off in the distance, and is very family friendly. You couldn't ask for more! We left on a Thursday and came back Sunday afternoon after going to church and spending the afternoon with my brother Trent and his family. We had such a terrific time! Our Friday adventure to the beach was cut short around noon when the clouds and rain rolled in. No worries though - Saturday we arrived again at around 10:00 and didn't leave until 5. We all had really good tan lines by the end of the day. The day was so perfect. We spent very little time actually sitting under the beach umbrella on our blanket. The kids were out exploring and swimming the whole day. It was amazing how far the tide went out by late afternoon. We were able to walk so far out where only hours before, that wouldn't have been very feasable. I just loved watching my kiddies. They found tons of shells and thought the crabs were the coolest. For being 7 months pregnant, I held up pretty well. We were so grateful we were able to get away for some family fun. Kathleen still asks if we are going to go to the beach. This may need to become a family tradition!!

What a great trip! It looks beautiful. The older my kids get the more important trips like this become. Especially the kind that turn into traditions. Your little family is so adorable! I miss all of you.
